Throughout my training and professional experience, I have developed a deep appreciation for the trust patients place in their local pharmacist—often seeking advice at their most vulnerable moments. I aim to honour that trust by providing safe, evidence-based, and compassionate care to every person I serve. During my clinical placements and work in the pharmacy setting, I strengthened my skills in medication counselling, health promotion, and collaborative practice with multidisciplinary teams. I am particularly motivated by the opportunity to support patients in managing long-term conditions such as hypertension, diabetes, and asthma, where effective communication and adherence support can significantly improve outcomes. I also enjoy being a first point of contact for minor ailments and urgent care needs, using my clinical knowledge to make timely, responsible decisions that prioritise patient safety. Working in community pharmacy has taught me that technical expertise must be paired with empathy, cultural awareness, and the ability to build rapport with people from diverse backgrounds. I take pride in creating a welcoming environment, listening carefully to concerns, and empowering patients to make informed decisions about their health.
